Hi Everyone,

I am trying to raise money to help one of my best friends and college lacrosse teammates, Joe Adams, and his family,  with his fight against cancer.  If you can help in any way possible, it would be greatly appreciated.  He is a great father, husband, coach, lacrosse player and friend…an all around great person.  As a athlete, he battles hard and never gives up but he can use some teammates to help him out right now. This is a free site and lets Joe keep all of the money raised.
If you can donate, please click on the following link:    Please feel free to share this with whoever may be able to help.
I am also donating some of the proceeds of my upcoming Youth Boys Lacrosse Tournament (Battle at the Big House) on October 28th at Ossining HS.  It is a 7v7 boys lacrosse tournament (Divisions 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, JV, & Varsity).  We can fit a few more teams.  If you would like to enter a team or be placed on a team, please email me at  Registration closes this Saturday, October 21st, 2017.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thanks for your generosity,
Drew Wendol

TEL AVIV, ISRAEL — As part of the Israel Lacrosse Association’s ongoing commitment to develop homegrown lacrosse stars, the Association has announced 15 recipients of the inaugural Daniel Kraft Lacrosse Scholarship, which sponsors Israeli youth lacrosse players to travel abroad to improve both their lacrosse and English skills by attending high-level lacrosse camps and tournaments.

The selections were based on leadership qualities, attendance at practices, lacrosse ability, and volunteer hours in conjunction with the Sticks for Kids program, which utilizes lacrosse as a platform to engage at-risk youth.

The players selected for the scholarship have been earmarked as strong candidates to represent Israel at the 2016 FIL U-19 Men’s World Championships, which are being held near Vancouver, Canada.

15-year-old Yotam Drori of Ashkelon will travel to Denver, Baltimore and New Jersey this summer on full scholarship.

As developmental players, they will be mentored by Logan Miller and Cole Campbell of Newport Beach, CA, and will see extensive action for Team Israel in the renowned Vail Lacrosse Shootout, as well as exhibition games against Turkey and several other countries.

The duo also received a partial scholarship in support of their participation in the inaugural ISB Dragons Youth Lacrosse Challenge in Belgrade, Serbia, this past May.

Cohen, 15, and Miron, 15, will travel to the United States in late July, where they will be mentored by Jonathan Bradbury of New Rochelle, NY. HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Hastings High School has a growing lacrosse program thanks to its coach Drew Wendol, who not only coaches the game but is still playing in adult leagues and teaching the game with Gargoyle Athletics, a sports training group that offers instruction and clinics and fields travel teams year round.

Wendol’s greatest individual accomplishment as an adult lacrosse player came when he was invited as one of 120 players to try out for the 2006 Men’s U.S. Lacrosse Team and again for the 2007 Men’s U.S. Lacrosse Indoor team. Although he did not make the 23-man roster, he considered it an honor to play with the top players in the world.

Wendol answers Five Questions about his coaching and teaching careers and longtime devotion to lacrosse.
